The muscle car is getting a turbocharged upgrade, but the supercharger isn't going anywhere.

YouTube channel itsjusta6 is a bunch of guys who “build stuff, race stuff, break stuff, fix stuff, and then put that stuff on YouTube. Wash, rinse, repeat.” Now, the latest build is a kickass 2020 Dodge Widebody Hellcat Challenger that just got twin-turbos.

So this is something Simon has dreamed of doing for a very long time. Taking a Challenger Hellcat, already wide-bodied and supercharged, and adding to its general craziness.

He starts the video by talking about how he’s made a lot of cars for a lot of people, as per what they wanted. And this is something he’s been wanting to do for a long time. So he shows off a gorgeous green 2021 widebody Dodge Challenger Hellcat with an open hood.

And then he tells his viewers that he’s not going to add twin turbochargers to the car, on top of the supercharger. More specifically, below the supercharger, considering their location in the trans tunnel. Simon also thanks Hellion Turbo for their contribution with the twin-turbocharger kit, and all the help.

Despite Simon making it very clear that the supercharger was there to stay, many of his fans took it the wrong way and assumed he was removing the supercharger. So he also posted a little video on Instagram, saying, "the amount of 'why would you remove the supercharger?' questions I’ve seen since last night’s video are insane. Guys, NO, the supercharger isn’t going anywhere. We’re just simply adding turbos on top of the blower. Well, I guess technically below…

Simon also gave a shout-out to Westen Champlin who did a twin-turbo Hellcat Charger and thought it would be fun to race the two cars. Wrote Simon, “Since we got the inspiration for this giveaway build from @westengw, maybe we should line up our Twin-Charged Challenger with his Twin-Charged Charger after it’s running?”

It's not as if Simon has had the car for long. He posted about it earlier in September only, saying, “So after spending an excruciating amount of time searching for the perfect one I'm proud to say.. Meet Chief, my new 2020 Widebody Hellcat Challenger in F8 Green and best of all. 6 SPEED MANUAL! I'm honestly surprised I've gone this long without getting one, knowing the amount of history I have had racing Mopars too. So with that being said…”

This car, according to the website, already boasts a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 that makes 717 horses. And now, with twin-turbochargers, the sky is perhaps the only limit. One lucky fan will walk away with nothing but pure power, with a “don’t ask” gas mileage.
